–Little Kids Art
Mondays from 11:00-11:45 AM
September 8,15,22, and 29th
Little children have fun explore different art mediums and creating art! All materials are safe and appropriate for little hands! We will create some art supplies in class! All ages are welcome. Parents, grandparents, babysitters may join!
Cost: $65 plus $12 supply fee
-Art Exploration Class
Mondays from 12:00 to 12:50 PM

Lots of Art!
This class is perfect for kids who have ½ a day or learn from home!
We will focus on creating art while allowing children to make a plan, problem solve and try new materials. This class is meant for exploration and growing! Each session children will find new and fun materials to create with!
Cost: $65 plus $16 supply fee

-Learn how to use your Sewing Machine
Wednesdays from 10-11 AM
September 3, 10th, 17th, and 24th
Drop your kids off at school and start a new project! Bring your sewing machine and learn how to use it! Create your project of choice! First session we will jump right in with a easy project! Then we will pick a project of your choice to continue learning! Please bring a sewing machine, and your manual.
Cost is $75 plus $10 supply fee for thread and material for your first project!

-Autumn Landscape Painting at Bent of the River
(Class meets at Bent of the River on East Flat Hill Rd. in Southbury)
During Autumn in New England journey outside to see the colors begin to change. As the air gets crisp and everything turns…. join us to create some beautiful landscape paintings. Focus on colors and textures and the light on the trees. Beginners are welcome to create beautiful acrylic landscape paintings with Kate Gorham from The Golden Button!
Cost is $80 plus $30 supply fee. Drop in for just one class $34 (includes supply fee)

-Sewing Class: Create an AWESOME BAG
Thursdays from 10:30-11:30

Learn how to create this very awesome bag! Class runs for 4 session and meets for 1 hour. Learn how to create a pattern, use your machine, techniques for sewing, and learn how to make buttonholes. Please bring your machine, a buttonhole foot, and your owners manual. When you sign up we will send you a list of materials via email. This class is perfect for beginners or advanced beginners! (This is an excellent holiday gift! I know its early… but trust me your friends want one!)
Cost is $75 plus $5 supply fee for thread and material for your first project!
-Crochet Basics at Lunchtime
Thursdays from 11:45 to 12:45

Learn to crochet! Remember those blankets your grandma used to make? Learn how to make one! Learn basic crochet stitches and learn how to use them! This is the perfect time of year to learn to make your own blankets! We will supply hooks and some yarn.
Cost is $75 plus $10 supply fee
-Hand Sewing (Preteens and teens- Adults may join too)
Thursdays from 4:30-5:30
September 4,11,18, and 25th
Learn basic hand sewing techniques, embroidery stitches, and how to apply vintage trim or appliqués. This is a great way to create something new from your old items!
Want to create a new up-cycled t-shirt or bag? Bring some old t-shirts, a hat, pillowcases, or a fabric bag to up-cycle! Your imagination is the limit! So much fun!
Cost is $65 plus $14 supply fee

Fridays between 1-5PM (call ahead to secure a apace)
Family Workshops are a great idea for a playdate or a special day out with the ones you love! Up to 4 Artists = $25 per person 5 or more artists are $20 per person! Workshops last 1.5 hours and encourage friends and families to get together and be creative! Each week we will have a different set of supplies for a different project… or ask us about special theme projects. During Family Workshop Time there will be gluten free snacks and beverages served!
Night Art Classes
Fridays from 5:30-6:30 PM
September 5,12,19th and 26th
Kids will create art based on the night! Some projects include painting night skies, creating starry wall hangings, creatures of the night art and other fun glowing things! This class is a great Friday night fun time! Wear old clothes! We might get messy!
Cost is $65 plus $14 supply fee

Sunday, September 7th from 2-4 PM
-Summer Memory Box at Bent of the River
Use found objects from your summer vacations and summer adventures to create an awesome 3-D keepsake of your summer adventure! Bring photos, sand, shells, small toys, pebbles, tickets, postcards and other cool things you collected this summer. Kids will use paint, glue, and other fun things to create these one of a kind Memories!
Cost is $15 plus a $5 supply fee per child (includes supplies)

Saturday, September 13th from 1 to 4ish
–Crafternoon! UP-CYCLE T-SHIRT DAY!
Learn how to create something new out of your old t-shirts!
Bring a bag of old t-shirts- vacation tees, stained tees, tees that just don’t fit, too small, too big, You just don’t know what to do with them…..
3 projects (Do 1, 2, or all 3!)
- T-SHIRT INTO TANK- (easy) Take a t-shirt and make it into a tank. Works for kids or adults. (Approx 20 minutes to make)
- BRAIDED RUG- (Very basic hand sewing) Tear up old shirts and create a small area rug! (Approx 1.5 hours to make)
- KIDS/TEEN T-SHIRT DRESS- (A beginner to advanced beginner project.) For this project your will need a tank top of the person the dress is for and a dress length measurement to create a paper pattern. Please bring two shirts…. one that is too big for you and a coordinating color t-shirt. (Bring your sewing machine for this project please) (This is an excellent project for a child or baby!) (Approx 2 hours)
Pick one project or make all three. Snacks and beverages will be served. A fun day for anyone who likes to create! Pre teens to adult are welcome. Some knowledge of a machine is helpful but not necessary. You may bring your own machine if you would like. So much fun!!! Can’t wait
