Join us at The Golden Button to learn the art of creating Ukrainian Easter Eggs. Marcus Klim will teach you the techniques of Pysanky and well as the ancient ideas and symbolism behind this beautiful tradition.

Not only will you receive all the skill you need to create Pysanky at home, but you will also take home dye, wax, and your own tools to create Pysanky Eggs at home!!!! Cost of the class is $40 (including supplies!)

We will provide the eggs for you and you will receive the tools and skills you need to create your own beautiful Pysanky at home! This class is offered to teens and adults.

Here are some art classes you may be interested in…
Little Kids Art!
Little kids of all ages are welcome to come and create artwork on Fridays at 2 PM! Explore different paints, build, sculpt and create! Get your hands dirty and have some fun! Moms, Dads, or other caregivers are welcome to have some fun too! (March 7, 14, and 21st!)
Cost is $40 for all 3 or $14 per class!!! (includes cost of supplies)

Painting for Kids:

On Fridays (March 7, 14, and 21st!) from 5-6 PM Children will explore color and design with paint! Play with warm and cool colors, make a painting to music, and create tiny portraits and have lots of fun!

Cost is $45 plus $12 supply fee.

Here’s a little lamb to make you smile today!

New Machine Sewing Class begins this Tuesday at 6 PM

Learn how to sew with your sewing machine! March 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th

Cost is $60. We will supply practice material and white thread. Please bring your sewing machine and sewing machine manual. We will learn basic sewing techniques then create a project or two! After the first class you will receive few projects to pick from… You will then bring your own material for your projects. This will allow you to pick something that you love!

This weekend at The Golden Button….

-Needle Felting Party!

Felting Party at The Golden Button! Sign up now! Sunday, February 23rd at 1 PM! Come have some tea and a treat or two and bring your projects that you need some help with. Bring a old kit, buy a new kit, make the second sculpture from another class, or just bring whatever you’ve started and need some help with…. Rachel Gerowe of Red Barn Originals will be guiding you through your project! Great time to finish your large owls that you’ve started or to work on un-finish creche sculptures. (Cost is $25- does not cover supplies)

Due the snow storm…. The Golden Button will be closed today. 😦 There were about 30 robins outside the shop yesterday…. today…. Snow storm. OH well. I will be making treats for tomorrow. Stop by between 1:30 and 5 PM to make Valentines or other art! Last chance to sign up for our Valentine’s giveaway… which is a painting by me (a $50 values) Stay safe and warm. I will be posting lots of great pictures today!

New Classes……

-Machine Sewing for Kids

-Learn how to sew with your sewing machine! Thursdays afternoons! February 20th, 27th, March 6th and March 13th from 5:45 to 6:45 PM

Cost is $60. We will supply practice material and white thread. Please bring your sewing machine and sewing machine manual. We will learn basic sewing techniques then create a project or two!

After the first class you will receive few projects to pick from… You will then bring your own material for your projects. This will allow you to pick something that you love!

-Crocheting Basics!

Learn how to crochet!!! Learn to read patterns and apply your new stitches to make hats, scarves, or blankets!!! Easy for beginners… Also open to advanced beginners or for crocheters who need a little refresher!!! Continue learning!!!

This class begins on Wednesday, February 19th, 26th, March 5th and March 12th from 6:30- 8 PM

Cost is $65 (If you need to buy a kit: $10 supply fee. or bring your own hooks! Bring your own yarn!!)

Valentine Making

The Golden Button is open today from 11-5 PM. Stop in between 11 and 4 PM to make Valentines ($12 per set of blank cards) have a treat and sign up for our Valentine Giveaway! We have lots of awesome local handmade items for Valentines
