Missed Classes and Makeups

If you need to miss a class for any reason please notify The Golden Button in advance. The Golden Button only offers makeups for illness and family emergencies. We can not offer makeup classes for absences and/or missed lessons that occur because students have conflicts, travel out of town, forget or other scheduling issues.

We ask that you do not attend classes when the student is ill. In the event of illness, please let us know before class that you will not be attending. You will be offered one group makeup. The makeup may include people from other classes. We can no longer offer individual makeups to each person who misses class. Thank you for your understanding.

In the event of a weather- related cancellation you will be offered a makeup class. You will be called and/or emailed before the class begins.

If you know you will miss a class for vacation or other events you may speak to us (ahead of time) and we can adjust the price of the class when you sign up.

If you pay for a Special Event (or a one time class) ahead of time and cannot make it, we can refund you the cost of the class as long as you let us know 48 hours in advance so we can attempt to fill your space.
