The Golden Button wanted to make sure that everyone will receive a valentine this Valentine’s Day…. So we are collecting valentines to share with a local senior!!!

Please help us by making a valentine or two to share! Let’s spread some love and joy this Valentine’s Day. 
Drop a finished valentine off in our pink mailbox

at The Golden Button
between February 3rd and 12th. (Just pop it in the pink post box inside the door) 

and just in time for Valentine’s Day… we will deliver them to local senior living facilities to share some love with as many seniors as we can.

We will make lots of fun mini things to celebrate Valentine’s Day…. mini valentines, a little valentine mailbox out of a mouse size shoebox….to collect valentines! Next, make a mini mouse size chocolate box, filled with tiny truffles and mini heart cookies too. Decorate and make accessories for each mouse! (Mice are limited. Please sign up to secure a mouse!) Join us for this fun guided paint night! Paint a beautiful Horse just in time for lunar New Year! Miss Kate will guide you through every step and help you paint your horse in gold and red. Cost is $35 per person 
                      

Stuffed Animal Sewing Clinic
Join us for this exciting new stuffed animal sewing workshops!For two weekend we will focus on learning how to sew and fix your sad, old and torn stuffed animals!!! Work at your own level. All levels are welcome. We will mainly hand sew. Please bring any stuffed animals that need repairs. Also send photos to Miss Kate if there are really drastic repairs needed. We will have threads, fabrics, and much more ready to fix your loved animals Finish them off with a bit of grooming and a new bow! Great for those new to sewing. (Kids 5 and up please) Cost its $40 per class

Older kids, teens and adults are invited to come and learn how to sew or work on your projects. Bring your sewing machine and manual… we will supply the rest!  Cost is $155



Early Dismissal: Creation Station


Meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month 


Beginning September 17, October 1, 15th November 5, 19th and December 3 and 17th Class begins at 2:45 PM and goes till 4:00 PM


Take the bus to The Golden Button to create some super fun artwork and explore new ways to create art. Sewing, sculpture, painting and more! Each week we will work on a super fun project. Projects include seasonal themes, Learn to sewing a stuffy and making it a fun fall house complete with minitures to go with it. (Space is limited) 


Children are encouraged to bring a drink and a snack. (Please let us know if you have any allergies) Woodbury kids will have a little time at the studio before class begins.

Beginner Crochet Class: Every other Wednesday

Ages 7 and up can join Miss Kate for a beginners crochet class. Learn all the basics and begin some easier projects. Basic supplies are included (feel free to bring your own hooks or yarns)  (Cost is $130)

Friday Sculpture and Painting

Join us each week to create some awesome 3-D scuklptures and paintings! Perfect for elementary and middle school age kids. You can bring a bunch of clothes (too small, too big, too short, has a stain, doesn’t fit just right… and we will upcycle it into something awesome!  (More experienced sewers are welcome to bring other projects they are working on)

This class is excellent for creating awesome clothes you will actually wear from your old items! Learn what fabrics work best for which project. Get started on that t-shirt blanket you’ve been meaning to get to! Or make a memory bear from old clothes. Bring old ribbons or lace to add to a dress or repair something old you love. Cost is $100

Joins us to celebrate your favorite “mom” (aunts, grammies, dads all welcome too!) Work together to paint a huge canvas painting of a beautiful mom elephant and her calf too!!! Add some flowers. Cost is $75 for two (Please let us know if you prefer seperate canvases.)

Kids Night Out: Jammies and Jewels Friday, May 16th from 5:30 PM-7:00 PM.                                                Wear your jammies and enjoy some (pretty) clean art projects make some super fun “crystal”necklaces and little jewelry boxes too. Finish the night off making a beautiful watercolor painting of crystals. Cost is $40 per child

Guided Painting- Spring Flowers

Joins us for this fun guided paint night. Paint spring flower arrangments. Miss Kate will guide you through this beautiful painting. Ages 5 and up welcome. Cost is $40 

No School- Critter Crafternoon.                                                                                   Monday, May 26th from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM.                                                                                        Kids can join us for some messy fun. Use clay to make cute spring critters the create a little critter house diorama. Ages 5 and up. Cost is $40 per person. 

No School-Sewing Crafternoon- Learn How to Sew Patchwork Fabric.                                                            Monday, May 26th from 1:00 PM-2:30 PM.                                                                              Join us for a sewing afternoon! Learn how to make patchwork fabric!!!! Tons of rainbow fabrics to pick from, great for pillows, bags, clothing, blankets and more! Experience using a sewing machine is extrememly helpful. Ages 7 and up (Younger children are welcome if they know how to sew on a machine.) Our focus will be on learning how to make the patchwork fabric, not a finished project. Cost is $40 per child.

Kids Crafternoon- Paint and Slime

Saturday, May 31st  from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM.   

Kids can join us for some messy fun. Create a spring painting on wooden panels and then make some messy fun seasonal slime. Have fun being messy and creative! Cost is $40 per person.
