The Kids learned how to “Wet Felt”
A felting technique where you use water and soap….then, agitate the wool by hand or with basic tools. We used local alpaca and sheep wool to make our artwork.
We began Winter Paintings

- Valentine Creations
Ages 5 and up
Create lots and lots of great Valentines treasures with all sorts of different materials. Make: Unravel message, Felt Cards, Collage Valentines, Fancy Animals and much more.
Thursdays January 31, February 7, and 14th
Time: 4:50 to 5:30 PM
Cost: $40 plus $15 supply fee (covers all three classes)

One Adult +One Child= Lots of Valentines fun!!!
Saturday, February 2nd at 1 PM
You and your child can come make Valentines with Bradleigh Huizinga of Stationarium. Bradleigh will teach you how to create beautiful treasures for your Valentine! We will serve Gluten free treats and have lots of fun!
Cost is $35 plus a $5 supply fee for you and your child (or a special little friend) (covers the 2 of you)!! A great way to get ready for Valentines Day with you child.

Giant Chalk Board Day
Stop by in to The Golden Button this January and February for lots of new items, birthday gifts, and pretty soon we will have Valentines….
Today we have these super cute new neck warmers! I love them! 
And I moved the whole shop around and am in the middle of lots of new projects… Today I am making this
Giant Chalk Board!!!
It isn’t finished yet… But I was so excited I had to share! I love making chalk boards… See the one in this photo. I found the frame when I lived in Massachusetts, quite a few years ago.
I hope everyone is having a great New Year. I am very lucky to have a beautiful new nephew and one of my friends had a beautiful new baby too!!!!

Kids/ Beginners Machine Sewing
Wednesday, January 16, 23, and 30th and February 6th 5:00- 5:45 PM
Maura Bergman teaches you how to use your new Sewing Machine! Learn basic functions, how to find your way around your Sewing Machine and how to make a basic pattern. This class is excellent for all all of you with new machines!
Cost is $65 plus $20 supply fee

Sew Your Own Tote bag or Purse-
Wednesday, January 16, 23, and 30th and February 6th 6:00-7:00 PM
Maura Bergman will teach you how to make a beautiful quality tote bag/ purse. This class is open to adult, advances beginners. Bring your sewing machine and learn all the steps to create your own bag from scratch.
Cost is $75 plus $20 supply fee

Explore winter through Art. Make snow pictures, Create “Snow Sculptures,” Make a home for winter creatures and then create your own creatures to live in it.

Holiday Gift Making!
In December there were two sessions of Holiday Gift Making classes offered… Below are photos from all the different projects we made…. Some of our projects were beautiful wreathes, Glitter houses, chalk boards and pet toys! It was lots of fun!
