Just wanted to remind you that we are celebrating

Christmas in July

 

Join us on Saturdays in July!!!!

On Saturday, July 14, 21, and 28th  We will have tent sales in front of the shop as well as Christmas and holiday gifts making and crafts inside. Don’t forget to check in periodically to get more info….

Please email, call or stop by to sign up for these… 

July 14th: Learn how to make some old fashion ornaments

($10 per ornaments)

July 21st: Open craft hours… we will have how to’s appropriate for all ages. (more information to come)

and

July 28th: Learn to make books with Dennis and Krissy from Kleiner Eisbar !!! 

Learn how to bind a book… then decorated, and filled  it with drawings, notes, letters, or pictures as gifts for grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, or other loved ones!!! This is going to be wonderful!!!

(Ages 8 and up….Adults may sign up as well.cost is $30 for workshop and there will be a small fee for supplies!)

Open Painting

Hello there.

Tomorrow we will be open from 1:30- 6:00 PM… Then we will be closed for vacation. We will reopen with new hours on July 10th at 11:00 AM!!!!

(You may still contact The Golden Button through email goldenbuttonshop@yahoo.com if you want to sign up for a class or need anything. It will be checked periodically while I am sitting by a pool 🙂

Stop by tomorrow for anything you may need in the next week or to do some Open Painting!!!

Portrait Art

This Wednesdays and Friday we are having Open Painting Hours. Drop by anytime between 2:00 and 5:00 PM to make a painting. We supply everything for $10! Wear a smock.

 Stop by at 5:00 PM on Wednesday for some punch and to see all the finished artwork from our Portrait Art Class!!!

Week Two- Sewing Camp

July 17-20 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Ages 8 and up)
Introduction to kids sewing. Each child will receive a small sewing kit to learn basic sewing. We will discuss sewing safety and learn how to create simple patterns. Your child will make food and other creations out of felt. Simple basic hand sewing for kids!

Week Three- Art Camp

July 24th-27th from 5:00-6:00 PM (All Ages)

Explore several mediums this week. Get comfortable with pastels, watercolor and create a large 3-D painting. You are going to want to wear a smock! Your child will work at his or her own level. All ages are welcome.

Cost is $50 plus $10 for supplies.
 We will be closing on Friday at 6:00 PM for vacation!!!! The Golden Button will open again on July 10th at 11:00 AM.
We will begin our Mini Summer Camp and we will have Needle Felting Bears from 6:30- 8:30 PM that evening!!!!

Just a few Reminders….

Our hours will be changing…

We are extending our hours!!!!

The Golden Button will be closed for vacation from June 30th to July 9th.

We will re-open on July 10th with different hours.

Our Summer hours:

Sundays and Mondays we will be closed (except for workshops, demos, and parties)

Tuesdays through Saturday we will be open from 11:00 AM till 6:00 PM

Open Painting Next week

This Wednesday and Friday from 2-5pm

Our Portrait Art Class wants to have an Art Show! You can visit!!! Come have some punch and see what they have been working on!!!

Christmas in July

On Saturdays in July (14th 21st and 28th) We will be having a Christmas in July  at The Golden Button!!!! Where we will have giveaways, sales on local, Handmade items and maybe some arts and crafts!!!!

I really love doing custom orders like these very cute bibs I personalized today for a baby shower!

Tomorrow we are having Terrarium Making.

Please stop by if you would like to create a wonderful terrarium.
