Just dropped off a bunch of fun treasures to be sold at the Flanders Artisan Market!
Looking for one of a kind distinctive gifts that will truly be appreciated by the special people on your shopping list? Decked out in festive style, the Van Vleck House is the setting for our annual “Artisan Marketplace”. One of the largest artisan markets in the area, you will find a wide variety of quality creations handmade by local crafters and artisans including furniture, artisan chocolates ; Needle felting kits & creatures; nutcrackers, fiber art – shawls, scarves; cards, Christmas ornaments, framed prints, baskets, garden accessories, soap, sugar scrubs, and lotion bars ; fun children’s accessories, pet items/ costumes; quilts, wreaths and greens, handcrafted jewelry, pottery, and more!
Proceeds benefit local artisans and Flanders land conservation and educational programs. Open 11AM-4PM every Saturday and Sunday from November 18 thru December 17

Adult Sewing: Making Gifts for Children
Meets Tuesdays: November 7, 14, 21 and 28th from 12:00-1:00 PM
Start early and create some awesome holiday gifts for your kids, nieces, nephews, little friends and more!!! Make kitchen play food or a mini garden collection! Make a Quiet or a Busy Book! Learn to sew or continue to learn! Most of our projects will be hand sewn but we will have sewing machines on hand too! Pick your projects! Work at your own pace! You may bring your children if you want to. (4 classes) Cost is $80 plus $32 for supplies.
Machine Sewing for Teens and Middle Schoolers
Meets Tuesdays: November 7, 14, 21 and 28th from 3:00- 4:00 PM Bring your sewing machine and manual… we will supply the rest! Learn to sew while creating what you want! Clothes, accessories, start making holiday gifts!!! Many projects to pick from! All levels are welcome (4 weeks) Cost for all 4 weeks is $65 plus $32 supply fee

Hand Sewing for Kids (ages 5 to 10 years olds)

Learn how to hand sew! Begin with a super fun embroidery project and learn about hand sewing! Fun sewing projects and more! We have special needles to make learning safer and easy for younger kids! Cost is $65 plus $16 supply fee.
Adult/ Child Sewing Class
Meets Wednesdays: November 1, 8, 15 (no class on the 22nd) and November 29th from 6:00PM- 7:00PM
Adults and children will create several machine sewn projects!!! Beginners are welcome! Learn to use your machine and sew together….or continue to learn new skills! Bring your machine, sewing kits, and manual! Lots of awesome projects!!! Class is designed so each participant creates their own project!!! Cost is $100 plus $ 35 supply fee (COST COVERS ONE CHILD AND ONE ADULT.) You can bring all your own supplies and wave the supply fee! Bring patterns and fabric of what you are working on.
Baby Art (two and under)
Meets Thursdays: November 2, 9, 16th, (No class on Thanksgiving) and 30th from 12:30- 1:00 PM ish
Have so much fun with your little one! Super fun messy art for parents or caregivers and little kids (6 months and up)
Come and explore while creating great projects with your little one!!!! Awesome safe and age appropriate projects. Get a little messy. All supplies are non toxic. After School Art! Mixed Media Art
Meets Thursdays: November 2, 9, 16th, (No class on Thanksgiving) and 30th from 4:30 to 5:30 PM
Elementary age kids work on their drawing, painting and sculpture skills while creating fun artwork! Cost is $65 plus $22 supply fee
Relaxing Painting for Adults
(All levels) Meets Thursdays: November 2, 9, 16th, (No class on Thanksgiving) and November 30th from 6:00 to 7:15PM
Teens and adults are invited to come and create awesome paintings! Paint on canvas and work on your skills! We will be working in Acrylic paint. You pick your own subjects, work from photo or bring a model with you!! Miss Kate will help guide you. Relax and be creative. Cost is $80 plus $25 supply fee (4 weeks)
Machine and Hand Sewing
Meets Fridays: November 3, 10 and 17th from 3:30-4:30 PM
Join us on Fridays to learn how to use your sewing machine and great hand sewing techniques!!! Create awesome projects! Sew up some clothes and more! Bring your machine and manual. We will provide the rest! (Please let us know if you are coming off the bus!) Cost is $50 plus $20 supply fee.
Friday Night Art: Clay……. Slime, Goo and Goops.
Meets Fridays: November 3, 10 and 17th from 5:00-6:00 PM
We promised we would….. soooooooo…… Here it is….. Come on Friday nights to create some really messy stuff. Clay, Slime, Goo and Goops. Try lots of recipes. Bring home samples and make a mess at The Golden Button instead of your mom’s kitchen. Cost is $50 plus $20 supply fee
