Kids Night Out: Spring Fling:  

This Saturday, April 2nd from 6:30-8:30 PM (or stay later!)

Wish you could find a sitter and have the night off? Drop the kids off at The Golden Button for a very special Spring Fling Night. Children 4 and up will create an awesome 3-d springy sculpture… use baby animals, fancy grasses, flowers and more! Make a fuzzy lamb and other fun projects!!!! So much fun! (2.5 hours!)

6:30-8:30 PM is $40 for one child or $65 for two children (includes all supplies)

Stay till 9:30 PM for $6 more per child (movie and a snack)

Or till 10:30 for $12 more per child! (movie and a snack and coloring activities)

Not ready to pick the kids up yet? Send a pillow and blanket in a bag! The kids will have a healthy snack and watch a fun kids movie! Pick them up by 10:30 PM

Painting for Adults

Classes meet Monday  April 4, 11, 18, 25th, and Monday, May 2nd. 6:45-8:15 PM

Adults will meet on Monday evenings at The Golden Button to learn or continue to learn how to paint. Create paintings from life or photos. Classes are taught using acrylic paint. Great for beginners or people who want to get better! Pick your own subject, create animal paintings, work on portraits and more! We will focus on mixing colors, composition, how to manipulate the paint and much more! (5 Sessions) Cost is $82 plus $33 supply fee (or $25 for one class)

Kids Sewing Machine for Beginners Classes meet Mondays beginning April 11, 18 and 25th (3 sessions) 5:30-6:30 PM

Learn how to use your new machine! Bring your sewing manual and we will create a fun and easy project for you to take home! New sewers will create a very special skirt made from sweatshirt material!!!! So snuggly and warm! Perfect for layering with fun leggings in this sometimes chilly April weather! Children will learn how to take measurements and create a garment from their measurements! Learn how to thread your machine, work your machine and create beautiful items too! Please bring your sewing kits, thread, pins and all that good stuff if you have it.

Cost is $45 plus $20 supply fee

 

Little Kids Art

Tuesdays beginning April  5, 12, 19, and 26th from 10:15pm – 11:00 ish AM

Little children have fun exploring different art mediums and creating awesome projects! All materials are safe and appropriate for little hands! Parents, grandparents, babysitters are encouraged to join! Make your own paint, clay and more!!!! Class is appropriate for all ages. (4 sessions) Cost $50 plus $20 supply fee

(We will get outside if the weather is permitting!!)

Machine Sewing for Kids (advanced beginner)

This class is for children who know how to use their sewing machines. Kids will make a super cute Spring skirt and more!!! Have fun and learn more sewing techniques too!!!!

Needle Felting: Elephants, Hippos, or Rhinos: Wednesday, April 27th from 7-9:30 PM at The Golden Button.

Join us at the Golden Button on Wednesday, April 27th from 7-9:30 PM to create 3-D a Elephant, Hippo, or Rhino sculpture. Needle felting is an easy-to-learn craft in which a barbed needle is used to sculpt wool into anything imaginable. In this class students will create a 3 dimensional felted Elephant, Hippo, or Rhino!   You will have enough materials to make another one!!! Part of our Menagerie Series!!!

Cost: $40 (Save $5 by bringing your own needles and foam)

Friday, April 8th from 6:30-8:30 PM

Relax and Paint a rainbow unicorn. (I mean you can just paint a horse if you wanted to…. But we will have a whole lot of awesome sparkly paint for you to pick from to decorate the mane and horn!!!! ) Yes… this is for adults, teens, and preteens. Bring your friends or older kids! Cost is $35 per person or $60 if you bring a friend or child! Just a little fun for you!!!!

Use wood, foam, cardboard, wire,  and soooo much more to create!!!! Cost $25 per class

Hand Sewing: A Beautiful Bunny or Spring Chicken

Sunday, March 20th from 2-4 PM

All of our hand sewers are invited to create a beautiful hand sewn keepsake Rabbit! (ages 7 and up please!!!!) We will have templates and samples and everything you need to create this beautiful gift for someone you love or keep it for yourself. (Including beautiful Velvet ribbons to decorate!)
