There will be a sale on Local Yarn and these beautiful prints of Alpacas from Alpaca Hill Farm will be on SALE all day Saturday….including photos of their beautiful new baby, Angel!!!!

4. We are finishing up Diorama Camp Tomorrow!!! We had Sooooooo much fun so…

I discussed it with the children and we decided to have a diorama competition… Complete with ribbon awards!!! So keep your eyes out for the information!!! This is going to be awesome!!!!

Connecticut Sheep and Wool Festival

I went to the CT Sheep and Wool Festival in Tolland, Connecticut today.

I found a lot of new fibers for the store and myself today. I also saw some cute little animals.

I almost took this rabbit home.

I met some great people and bought some new roving for the shop and for our Koolaid Dying Workshop in May. I also saw Eileen from Alpaca Hill, Patti from Maple View Farm, and Rose from Bittersweet Ridge!!!!

We had a awesome weekend at The Golden Button!!! Today was our Needle Felting Bunny Workshop….

We are having a Free Workshop this Friday night at 6pm at The Golden Button….. Learn to make a Potato Chip Scarf with EIleen Warner from Alpaca Hill Farm! Workshop is free with the purchase of 2 skeins of Alpaca Yarn.

There are still spaces in the Drop Spindle Class. Learn how to make your own yarn!!!! Its a two part class with Rose Garbien from Bittersweet Ridge in Roxbury! The cost is $60 for the two part class…. Plus $10 for a kit which includes your own Drop Spindle and roving. Class is March 11th and March 18th
