Jewelry Classes with Lori Meehan at The Golden Button!!!
****Wrapped Wire Ring & Memory Wire Bracelet Class
Wed, March 25th at 6:30 PM
Cost: $36 person (will include wire, but not beads)
Level: Beginner + (age 12 & up)
Time: 60 – 90 Minutes
Supplies: Wire, Beads, Memory Wire
Tools: Flush Wire Cutters, Memory Wire Cutters, Chain Nose Pliers, Flat Nose Pliers, Round Nose Pliers, Ring Mandrel, Mallet (Instructor will have tools for use in the class)
Whether you are a beginner or have some experience with jewelry making, these wire rings and memory wire bracelets are fun to make and you’ll go home with completed projects. You’ll be able to make a ring and bracelet to match every outfit. You’ll learn how to use various jewelry making tools, the different types and sizes of wire and beads. No experience necessary.
Supply list will be provided upon request prior to the class or materials may be purchased from the instructor the day of the class. There will be various bead packets available for purchase – buy an extra one to work on at home.

November 5, 12, 19th and 26th
Little children have fun explore different art mediums and creating art! All materials are safe and appropriate for little hands! We will create some art supplies in class! All ages are welcome. Parents, grandparents, babysitters may join!
Cost: $65 plus $12 supply fee

*Easy Encaustic Painting
Saturday, November 1st from 7-9 PM
Many of you have expressed interest in learning about encaustic painting! We will be creating easy encaustic paintings!
This is a fun creative way to spend your evening with friends!
Encaustic painting, also known as hot wax painting, involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added.
Please keep in mind we will be using hot wax! Safety first! BYOB
Cost is $45 each or $70 for 2!

Friday 10/10, 10/17, 10/24 and 11/7 cost is $65 and a $14 supply fee. Sibling discounts available. Children will learn basic hand sewing, sewing safety, how to join fabrics, and how to create new things. Please contact us to discuss sewing options for young children! Ages 4-6 can sew too… Using special needles and fabrics!

*Landscape Art Painting at Bent of the River in Southbury 2-4 PM
This is a painting from our Autumn Landscape painting class at Bent of the River. Sign up now for this Saturdays class from 2-4 pm (October 11) cost is $35 covers all supplies!

*Haunted House Sculptures
October 13th from 10-4 PM you can stop in anytime to create a awesome spooky Haunted House!

Little Kids Art!
Little kids of all ages are welcome to come and create artwork on Fridays at 2 PM! Explore different paints, build, sculpt and create! Get your hands dirty and have some fun! Moms, Dads, or other caregivers are welcome to have some fun too! (March 7, 14, and 21st!)
Cost is $40 for all 3 or $14 per class!!! (includes cost of supplies)
Painting for Kids:
On Fridays (March 7, 14, and 21st!) from 5-6 PM Children will explore color and design with paint! Play with warm and cool colors, make a painting to music, and create tiny portraits and have lots of fun!
Cost is $45 plus $12 supply fee.
