Call ahead or drop in to join us for Spring Break Art! Cost is $20 per child for an hour of Art!!! Make a painting, build a sculpture or Make a 3-D Flower! SOOOO Much fun! Lots of great supplies and projects to pick from! Other new classes beginning this week!!!

Eggs and Bunnies! Drop in Art!

You do not need to call ahead to sign up for these drop in hours!!!! Just swing in when it works for you!!!

Pick your projects:

*Paint Wooden Eggs- Take your pick of wooden or paper mache eggs to decorate! We will be using acrylic Paint (it is non toxic but will stain clothes!)to decorate these wonderful little eggs! Make a bird egg, a dragon egg or an Easter Egg! We will varnish them so they last forever! Cost is $5 per egg!

*Paint a Spring Bunny!!!!- Paint and decorate a great big cardboard and paper mache bunny sculpture! Make it white, make it pink, make it brown and cover it in sparkles if you like!!!! Cost is $20 per bunny! (Bunnies will be ready on March 14th)

*Spring painting!!!! Create a bright and colorful painting of anything you like on an adorable little canvas! Cost is $10 per canvas!

Needle Felting Classes at The Golden Button

*Sunday, January 26th 2-5 PM: Wall Hangings

Join us at the Golden Button on Sunday January 25th at 2 pm to create some needle felted wall art. Needle felting is an easy-to-learn craft in which a barbed needle is used to sculpt wool into anything imaginable. In January’s class students will create a 2 dimensional felted design of their choice, ready for hanging or tabletop display. Cost: $45 (Save $5 by bringing your own needles and foam) To register call Kate at the Golden Button at 203-910-9948.

*Sunday, February 22nd 2-5 PM: Horses

Join us at the Golden Button on Sunday February 22nd at 2 pm to create 3-D pony sculptures. Needle felting is an easy-to-learn craft in which a barbed needle is used to sculpt wool into anything imaginable. In February’s class students will create a 4″, 3 dimensional felted pony or horse. Today we had a very special little boy at The Golden Button….. Chase.

Chase is turning six months old next week and I love him.

Chase brought his Mom and Dad with him to paint his very first Easter Egg!

I am hoping to sleep in tomorrow, do some gardening, and take a nap. Oh and eat chocolate!

We had a awesome weekend at The Golden Button!!! Today was our Needle Felting Bunny Workshop….

I also wanted to remind you about this….

We are having a Free Workshop this Friday night at 6pm at The Golden Button….. Learn to make a Potato Chip Scarf with EIleen Warner from Alpaca Hill Farm! Workshop is free with the purchase of 2 skeins of Alpaca Yarn.

There are still spaces in the Drop Spindle Class. Learn how to make your own yarn!!!! Its a two part class with Rose Garbien from Bittersweet Ridge in Roxbury! The cost is $60 for the two part class…. Plus $10 for a kit which includes your own Drop Spindle and roving. Class is March 11th and March 18th
