Making Turkey Centerpieces!!!! You can still order a turkey!
Sign up to create a beautiful holiday centerpiece! Children will create an amazing turkey sculpture to decorate your Thanksgiving table! Cost is $15 per centerpiece! All ages are welcome but some younger children will need help to finish their project!
Call, email or drop in to request a turkey! Turkey sculpture bases are made in advance for each child! We cannot guarantee you a turkey sculpture base if you do not sign up in advance!

Kids Thanksgiving Center Pieces!

Machine Sewing Classes

Pull your machine out and learn how to sew! Maura Bergman is teaching basic and beginner sewing. Class starts on Wednesday, November 27^th at 11 AM! Bring your machine and manual and Maura will guide you through learning how to sew! Basic sewing, creating a project, and simple patterns! Great for beginners or people who have not sewn in years!

Class meets Wednesday, November 27^th, December 4^th, and December 11^{th at} 11 AM at The Golden Button! Cost is $75

We will pick a project to work on during class!

Crocheting Basics!

Learn how to crochet!!! In the first class learn several stitches and practice! Then create a beautiful scarf in the next two classes! You will have a beautiful warm winter scarf to keep for yourself or give as a gift!

This class begins on Tuesday, November 26^th, December 3^rd and December 10^th! At 6:30 PM

Cost is $50 plus $10 supply fee. (Supply fee does not including the cost of the yarn for your finished scarf! Discounts on yarn during class session or you can bring your own!)

Needle Felting: Moose or Deer

Cost: $35 (save $5 if you bring your own foam and needles)

Rachel Gerowe of Red Barn Originals will teach you how to create a moose or deer sculpture with wool and special barbed needles.

Next Thursday is a open Needle Felting Forum!!! Open to anyone who need some help or wants to meet other needle felters!!!

Mommy and Mini Classes

Fridays in September: 20th, 27th, October 4th and 11th from 1:00 to 1:30 PM
Cost is $40
Fridays are Mommy and Mini classes at The Golden Button. We will meet from 1:00 to 1:30 PM. everyone is welcome… All activities are appropriate for baby, toddlers, and little ones. (All materials are non-toxic and safe for love bugs) You are welcome to bring a booster seat or just sit with your little one. We will explore lots of colors and textures with fun and safe materials! A little messy but a lot of fun!

Little Kids Art (ages 3 to 5 years old)

Fridays in September: 20th, 27th, October 4th and 11th from 2:00 to 2:45 PM
Cost is $50 plus a $10 supply fee
Little kids explore autumn through art! Create giant leaves, make a tree, print with wood, create Fall Jewelry, mix colors and make paintings. Lots of fun!!!!!

Week Seven – Arts and Crafts Camp (ages 7 and up)

Children will learn crafts from traditional summer camps! Make wind chimes, paint rocks, draw pictures, send mail and sooo much more!

Arts and Crafts week is August 13^th, 14^th, 15^th, 16^th! From 4:30—5:30 PM

Week Eight- Summer Night Camp (Ages 4 and up)

Listen to the summer night sounds, Create a giant bug that really glows, make trees in the night, and a nocturnal animal! Lots of painting and glow in the dark fun! And maybe some outer space art too!!!

Summer Night Camp begins on August 20^th– the 23^rd from 5-6 PM

Needle Felting: Raccoons on Sunday, August 25th from 1-3:00 PM. Cost is $35 (same $5 if you bring your own needles!) Learn how to create a very cute raccoon sculpture out of wool!

Week Six- Adventure Week (Ages 6 and up)
Take an adventure… Learn about maps and make your own… discover different environments and make art based on them! Get your photo taken in a far off land!

Adventure week begins on August 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th from 5-6 PM

Week Six- Little Kids Adventure! (Ages 3-5)
From 3-3:45 PM little kids get to make fun projects too!!! Children will create all sorts of art based on adventures! Explore a coral reef, what is on top of the mountain, who lives in a cave? Kids make a map, an adventure collage, a painting and a sculpture!

Little kids Adventure week begins on August 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th from 3-3:45 PM

Create felt and fabric flower pins with Rebecca Taylor. (You do need to use a hot glue gun.. You may bring your own or we have some!) They are soooo cute! Rebecca makes those beautiful Felt flower pins that we sell at The Golden Button!

Kids/ Beginners Machine Sewing

Thursday, May 23rd, May 30th, June 6th and June 13th 5:00- 5:45 PM

This sewing class is for beginners and slightly advanced beginners… continue learning and creating at The Golden Button with your own Sewing Machine

Maura Bergman teaches you how to use your new Sewing Machine! Learn basic functions, how to find your way around your Sewing Machine and how to make a basic pattern. This class is excellent for all of you with new machines!

Cost is $65 plus $20 supply fee.

Adult Paint

Come and paint a picture with Miss Kate! You do not need to know how to paint. Come, relax and have fun. Bring a friend and have a drink! Mom’s night out! WE meet from7 to 9 PM (BYOB adults only)

Friday, May 17th: Learn how to paint a bird or Owl.

Friday, May 24th: Learn how to paint your favorite flower.

Friday May 31st: Learn how to paint an animal.

Cost is $25 per night.
