Kids Classes and Workshops

• Mommy and Mini Classes

Fridays in September: 20th, 27^th, October 4^th and 11th from 1:00 to 1:30 PM

Cost is $40

Fridays are Mommy and Mini classes at The Golden Button. We will meet from 1:00 to 1:30 PM. everyone is welcome… All activities are appropriate for baby, toddlers, and little ones. (All materials are non-toxic and safe for love bugs) You are welcome to bring a booster seat or just sit with your little one. We will explore lots of colors and textures with fun and safe materials! A little messy but a lot of fun!

• Little Kids Art (ages 3 to 5 years old)

Fridays in September: 20th, 27^th, October 4^th and 11th from 2:00 to 2:45 PM

Cost is $50 plus a $10 supply fee

Little kids explore autumn through art! Create giant leaves, make a tree, print with wood, create Fall Jewelry, mix colors and make paintings. Lots of fun!!!!!

 

 

• The Golden Button Crafternoon!

Join us on Saturday, September 28th

Ages 5 and up from 12:00 to 2:00 PM

Teens and Adults from 2:30 to 4:30 PM

Meet some of our local artists and learn how to craft some really special things!

Cost is $40 per person (covers all supplies and a snack!!!)

Four different crafts to create!!!!

Early sign up discount…. First 4 spaces are $35

Space is limited Call ahead, email or drop by to sign up for Crafternoon!!! All ages are welcome to join! This is great for adults and teens as well as school age children!

 

•             Knitting at Your Own Pace

October 11, 18, and 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM

Cost is $75

Knitting Class with Patti Clark of Maple View Farm. This class is open to beginners as well as advanced beginner. Learn how to knit, use this class as a refresher course or just go to the next step. Patti will be there to teach you how to knitting, purling, casting on and off and how to read patterns. Go at your own pace… and get better at knitting!!!

This class will meet on Friday Evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 PM beginning October 11th at The Golden Button.

(Please bring knitting needles, yarn and projects that you need help on!)

 

•             How to Crochet

October 11, 18, and 25 from 5:00 to 6:15 PM

Cost is $55

Beginners Crochet Class. This class is open to beginners as well as advanced beginner. Learn how to crochet, use this class as a refresher course or just go to the next step. Learn lots of crochet stitches, how to read patterns, and make something warm and fuzzy!

This class will meet on Friday Evenings from 5:00 to 6:15 PM beginning October 11th at The Golden Button.

(Crochet hooks and practice yarn will be provided)

Upcoming Needle Felting Classes…

•             Needle Felting: Sharks and other Fish

September 22nd from 2-4 PM

Cost: $35 (save $5 if you bring your own foam and needles)

Rachel Gerowe of Red Barn Originals will teach you how to create a beautiful sculpture with wool and special barbed needles. Make a shark or your favorite fish!

Cost $35 includes materials to make a shark or other fish in class and one or several more at home, depending on the size fish you choose to make. (Bring your own needles and foam and save $5)

           

• Needle Felting: Swans or Canadian Goose

October 27th from 2-4 PM

Cost: $35 (save $5 if you bring your own foam and needles)

Rachel Gerowe of Red Barn Originals will teach you how to create a beautiful swan with wool and special barbed needles. (Enough materials to make one at home too!!)

          

•   Needle Felting: Moose or Deer

November 17th from 2-5ish PM

Cost: $35 (save $5 if you bring your own foam and needles)

Rachel Gerowe of Red Barn Originals will teach you how to create a moose or deer sculpture with wool and special barbed needles.

           

• Needle Felt a Creche! 

Creche Opportunity- Thursday evenings at 6:30-9:30 in October and November

Make your own “child friendly” creche out of wool.  Each class includes instructions and materials to make several items. Sign up for one class or several. Sign up for all 5 sessions for $150 and save!
