Kids Machine Sewing (Tuesday)

Meets Tuesdays: December 3, 10, and 17 th from 4:30-5:30 PM

Bring your sewing machine and manual… we will supply the rest! Make awesome clothes, gifts, stuffed animals and more!!!! Many projects to pick from! Work at your own level. (3 weeks) Cost is $95

Sewing/ Art for Teens/Adults

Meets Tuesdays: December 3, 10, and 17 th from from 5:30-6:30 PM

Older kids, teens and adults are invited to come and learn how to sew or work on your projects. Bring your sewing machine and manual… we will supply the rest! Cost is $95

Creation Station Art Meets Wednesdays in December 4, 11, and 18th from 3:30-4:30 PM Join us for a super fun and creative class for kids and little ones. This class will encourage kids to be creative with lots of fun and found objects. Glue, tape, paint, stick, and more. This class is great for younger artists as well as elementarty age kids as well as homeschool kids. (Kids in Woodbury/ Bethlehem are welcome to get off the bus at the studio) Cost is $95

Holiday Gift Sewing

Meets Wednesdays: December 4, 11, and 18 from 4:30 to 5:30 PM

Children, teens or adults will create awesome holiday gifts!!! Make mittens, pot holders scarves, totebags, clothes, gift items, holiday inspired projects, stuffed animals, and so much more! Learn to use your machine or continue to learn new skills! New to seing? Make beautiful hand sewn ornaments too! Work at your own pace. Bring your machine, sewing kits, and manual! Lots of awesome projects!!! Cost is $100

After School Art Meets Thursdays, December 5, 12, and 19th from 4:30- 5:30 PM Make a super fun art projects… grab some clay, make a sculpture or take a canvases and paint! Let’s make some fun artwork. (3 weeks) Cost is $95

Friday Art: Land of Sweets Meets Fridays December 6, 13, 20th from 4:30- 5:30 PM Make super fun sweet inspired artwork with 3-d elements, create a fun piece of pie, great big cookies and other artwork inspired by winter treats. Cost is $100 includes supplies

Each participant will get four special ornaments to paint and decorate! All ages are welcome. (Paint can stain but is non toxic we also have a washable option for little friends) Cost is $25 per person.

Holiday Slime Party Friday, November 29th from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM. Join us for this extremely fun event. Make two awesome winter slimes. Lots of colors and fun add ins… penguins, snowmen and more!! Great for kids 5 and up. Cost is $40 per child.

Family Crafternoon: Advent Calendars Saturday, November 30th 1:00-3:00 PM Join us to create a beautiful keepsake advent calendar to enjoy for years to come. 2-3 family members can work together to glue, sew and more! We will premake the calendar, numbers and lots of cut outs to decorate. Cost is $75 per advent calendar (Space is limited. You must register before Thanksgiving)

Adult/ Child Guided Painting: Gingerbread Houses Friday,December 6th from 5:30-7:00 PM Join us to paint whimsical yummy gingerbread house. All ages are welcome. Miss Kate will guide you to paint a wonderful background, gingerbread and then all lots of gliuttery fun candies and sweets! (We will have tracers if you want it to be a bit easier. Cost is $70 for two painters. Or $40 for one painter

Giant Nutcrackers Crafternoon Sunday, December 8th, from 2:00- 3:30 PM Join us paint a huge wooden nutcracker. Space is limited. Paint and decorate your nutcracker, have some cocoa and finish off making a special ornament to bring home. Cost is $60 for two people to work on one nutcracker together.

Guided Paint Night: The Grinch and Max Friday, December 13th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM Join us to paint the Grinch and Max!! Miss Kate will guide you through every step and help you along the way!!! Tracers will be avaliable if you want to use them. Cost is $40 per person

Gingerbread Houses Sculpture Day Saturday, December 14th from 12:00-1:30 PM Join us for this super whimsical event. Create beautiful Gingerbread house to play with add fun things like sugar plum fairy decorations, a nutcracker ornament or a little stage diorama complete with a spinning ballerina! Cost is $40 per person

How to be an Elf- Kids Night Out Friday, December 20th at 5:30-7:00 PM Join us to celebrate all things Elf. Make a some fun sculptures… a great big cocoa sculpture and a candy cane necklace too. Great for big and little kids. Cost is $40

How to be an Elf- Kids Day Out Sunday, December 22nd from 1:00-3:00 PM Drop the kids off so they can learn to be an Elf while you get some time to yourself! Kids will make some little gifts and decorate a tiny stocking, next they will make a bunch of fun ornaments and some gift tags too! Cost is $45

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer Art Sunday, December 22nd from 3:00-4:30 PM Kids will create an awesome holiday painting and have time to make a special little Rudolph piece too! Cost is $40

OH HELLO! It has been an extremely busy couple of weeks around here! I have been promising to post some of the upcoming events at The Golden Button… So here is a bunch and there are more to come…..

New classes, workshops and events at The Golden Button!!

Machine Sewing Classes

Pull your machine out and learn how to sew! Maura Bergman is teaching basic and beginner sewing. Class starts on Wednesday, November 27^th at 11 AM! Bring your machine and manual and Maura will guide you through learning how to sew! Basic sewing, creating a project, and simple patterns! Great for beginners or people who have not sewn in years!

Class meets Wednesday, November 27^th, December 4^th, and December 11^{th at} 11 AM at The Golden Button! Cost is $75

We will pick a project to work on during class!

Crocheting Basics!

Learn how to crochet!!! In the first class learn several stitches and practice! Then create a beautiful scarf in the next two classes! You will have a beautiful warm winter scarf to keep for yourself or give as a gift!

This class begins on Tuesday, November 26^th, December 3^rd and December 10^th! At 6:30 PM

Cost is $50 plus $10 supply fee. (Supply fee does not including the cost of the yarn for your finished scarf! Discounts on yarn during class session or you can bring your own!)

Kids Thanksgiving Center Pieces!

Sign up to create a beautiful holiday centerpiece! Children will create an amazing turkey sculpture to decorate your Thanksgiving table! Cost is $15 per centerpiece! All ages are welcome but some younger children will need help to finish their project!

Call, email or drop in to request a turkey! Turkey sculpture bases are made in advance for each child! We cannot guarantee you a turkey sculpture base if you do not sign up in advance!

The Golden Button would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

The Golden Button is open 11-5pm Saturday and 12-5pm Sunday then it will be closed for one business week. We will re-open on January 8th with lots of new classes and new items in the shop!
