Here are some wet Llamas at Little Kids Art on the Farm!

Little Kids get to have fun on the farm! Explore and create fun new things and get your hands dirty! Miss Kate will be helping your children to create! All ages are welcome!

Class meets on Wednesdays at 11:30 AM

Bring a snack and drink to have at the farm if you want!!! Parents, grandparents or babysitters are encouraged to join in the fun! Wear old clothes!!!

See baby goats, llamas and enjoy being outside while we do some really fun artwork!!!

When: Class begins on June 4, 11, 18, and 25th

Time: at 11:30 AM to 12:20ish

Cost: $60 plus a $12 supply fee

The Golden Button is partnering with local businesses to share more workshops and classes with the community!

You can find us at Rowanwood Farm in Sandy Hook, at CAST Preschool in Woodbury and at Bent of the River in Southbury! Classes are forming now!!!

Here are some new classes…..

Needle Felting Classes

Join us in Woodbury (at CAST PRESCHOOL) for some Needle Felting taught by Rachel Gerowe of Red Barn Originals!

-Curly Sheep

Thursday, May 29^th from 6:30 to 9:00 PM

Cost is $40 (save $5 if you bring your own needles and foam)

Create a 4 inch (or smaller) sheep sculpture using special barbed needles and beautiful curly fiber. You will have enough material to make one at home!

-Large Curly Sheep Class

Sunday, June 1^st from 1-5 PM

Cost is $60 (save $5 if you bring your own needles and foam)

Rachel Gerowe of Red Barn Originals will teach you how to create these beautiful large sheep using special curly fiber!

-Crocheting Fruits and Veggies!

Make beautiful Amigurumi fruits and veggies! Each week we will create a new stuffy sculpture! This is excellent way to learn crochet or to learn a new way to crochet.

(Some crochet experience is helpful but not required)

Class meets on Tuesdays from 6-7 PM in Woodbury

May 20^th, 27^th, June 3^rd and 10^th

When: Thursday, April 24^th and Thursday, May 1^st from 6:30- 9:30 PM

Where: 124 South Pomperaug Ave. Woodbury, CT

Cost: $75 (save $5 if you bring your own foam and needles)

Rachel Gerowe of Red Barn Originals will guide you through creating a Bantam Chicken sized sculpture with soft curly locks wool and special barbed needles!!!! Needle felting is an easy-to-learn craft in which wool can be shaped and sculpted into anything imaginable! Please let us know if you would like to join! Space is limited!

Today was Pysanky Class with Marcus Klimm! We had so much fun! Next weeks class is already full. But feel free to contact us to get on a waiting list incase any spaces open up. 🙂

We did decide to have a Kids Pysanky Class!!!! Same class but with no wax melting. Safer for the kids!

Kids Pysanky Workshop

Learn the symbolism in Pysanky and decorate several eggs to take home!

Join us at The Golden Button to learn the art of creating Ukrainian Easter Eggs. Marcus Klim will teach you the techniques of Pysanky and well as the ancient ideas and symbolism behind this beautiful tradition.

Not only will you receive all the skill you need to create Pysanky at home, but you will also take home dye, wax, and your own tools to create Pysanky Eggs at home!!!! Cost of the class is $40 (including supplies!)

We will provide the eggs for you and you will receive the tools and skills you need to create your own beautiful Pysanky at home! This class is offered to teens and adults.
