Summer Art Programs
(One week programs: Classes meet Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: Cost is $80 per session and covers all supplies)
Dioramas Program: 2:30- 3:30 PM
Week Six: 7/27, 7/28, 7/29, 7/30: This is Miss Kate’s Favorite!!!! Create magical tiny worlds in little containers!!!! Use all sorts of wonderful little treasures! Ages 4 and up
Art Show Program: 4:00 to 5:00 PM
Week Seven: 8/3, 8/4, 8/5, 8/6: Kids plan their own Art Show! We will have a real art show at the end of our Art Show Program! Ages 4 and up
Back to School Sewing Program: 3:30 to 4:30 PM
Week Eight: 8/10, 8/11, 8/12, 8/13: Back to school sewing! Make your own lunch bag, reusable snack bag, and a pencil holder with your sewing machine! (Bring your own machine and manual!) Ages 7 and up
New Classes:
Little Kids Art: Tuesdays in August 4, 11, 18 and 25 at 11 AM
Children are invited to come explore art! Each class we will create art with safe, non toxic, age appropriate materials! Class typically lasts about 45 minutes. Parents, grandparents, nannies are encouraged to participate!
This session we will focus on Summer Art! Make your own sandy paint, build a sand castle, make a “water” painting! And much more!!!!!
Cost is $60 plus $20 supply fee (Or drop in for one $24 a day!)
Lots of Sewing: Tuesdays in August 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 2-4 PM
Create projects that combine hand sewing and machine sewing! Children will learn how to read patterns and how to construct garments! Please bring your sewing machine, manual and your sewing boxes, pins, etc. you may sign up for all 4 sessions or just 3.
Cost is $100 plus a $40 supply fee. Or sign up for 3 classes… Cost is $80 plus $30 supply fee
Just Hand Sewing: Tuesdays in August 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 5-6 PM
Hand sewing is so much fun! Each class we will focus on a different project. In the first class… children will receive their own sewing supplies and each child will hand sew their own case to hold them! In each other class children will be given a choice of projects… embroidery,

Large Sculpture: Wednesdays in August 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 2:00-3:30 PM
Children are invited to come explore sculpture! We will use wire, paper mache, glue, wood, fabric and more to create awesome large sculptures! Each child will create several sketches or plans for their sculptures and then create them out of a large selections of supplies! This I probably going to get very messy! This class is for kids 7 and up. This class is a little longer! Cost is $80 plus $40 supply fee or sign up for 3 classes: $60 plus a $30 supply fee.
Drawing and Painting More: Wednesdays in August 5, 12, 19 and 26 at from 6-7 PM
In this class we will focus on drawing and painting. Children will create art from still lives, models, photos and more. We will focus on our technique as well as how to be more positive on the outcome of finished artwork. Supplies include paint, charcoal, colored pencils, and ink. On nice days we may go outside for a little landscape drawing. Children will work at their own pace!
Each child will receive a sketchbook to take home and carry with them!!! (Kids ages 7 to 12)
There will be different projects than in July’s class but our focus will remain the same!
Cost is $65 plus a $16 supply fee.
Special Events:
-Kids Night Out: Wednesday, August 5th from 7-9 PM (or come early at 6 PM!) Drop the kids off and have a night off! Kids will create awesome SCULPTURES!!!!! So much fun! Ages 4 and up. Cost is $35 per child or 2 for $50
*****Your child can come early…..from 6-7 PM to create more super fun summer Art!!!! (add $15)
-Sewing Beeeeee: Friday, August 7th from 7-9 PM Come hand sew with us!!! All ages are welcome!!!! If you like to sew you are invited! Bring a friend and have some treats! Come with the project you are working on or grab a kit and create a little project! Choices include a fancy brooch, a mini quilt, and sampler! Ice tea, lemonade, and treats will be served! Cost is $10 to join! (And about $12-$15 per kit!)
-Adult Paint Night: Wednesday, August 12th: 7:30-9:30 PM Adult Night Out! Join us to create a guided painting! Miss Kate will take you step by step through a cocktail inspired painting! Snacks will be served (BYOB) $45 each or $70 for you and a friend!!! (You do not need to know how to paint!)
-Minion Night (Kids 4 and up please!!!) August 14th: 6-8 or 9 PM Drop the kids off and have a night out! Kids will create awesome Minion inspired projects!!!!!!! So much fun! Ages 4 and up. Cost is $35 per child or 2 for $50
*****Your child can come stay late and make their own minion to take home!!! (add $15)
-Parent/ Kid Night: Friday, August 21st from 6-8 PM Join us on Friday, July 24th from 6:30-8:30 PM to create a super fun family portrait!!! Bring photos of everyone you would like to include! Create a 3-d family tree or
Cost is $55 for one adult and one child! $75 for an extra child! Cost includes supplies and snacks
–Needle Felting Hedgehogs: Wednesday, August 26th: 7:00 PM to 9:30PM
Join us at the Golden Button on Wednesday, August 26th at 7 PM to create 3-D Hedgehog sculptures. Needle felting is an easy-to-learn craft in which a barbed needle is used to sculpt wool into anything imaginable. In this class students will create a 3 dimensional felted hedgehogs! You will have enough materials to make another one!!!
Cost: $40 (Save $5 by bringing your own needles and foam)
