 –Kids Sewing Machine for Beginners: Make a perfect winter skirt Classes meet Mondays beginning February 15 and 22 from 4:30-5:30

This two week class is very special. New sewers will create a very special skirt made from sweatshirt material!!!! So snuggly and warm! Perfect for layering with fun leggings in this chilly February weather! Children will learn how to take measurements and create a garment from their measurements!

Cost is $30 plus a $15 supply fee!

Kids Sewing Machine for Beginners Classes meet Mondays beginning February 29, and March 7th and 14th, 21, 28th and April 4th (6 sessions) from 5:30-6:30 PM

Learn how to use your new machine! Bring your sewing manual and each week we will create a fun and easy project for you to take home! Learn how to thread your machine, work your machine and create beautiful items too! Please bring your sewing kits, thread, pins and all that good stuff if you have it.

Cost is $90 plus $35 supply fee

 

Painting for Adults (FULL)

Classes meet Monday February 1, 8, 15 and 22nd from 6-7:30 PM

Adults will meet on Monday evenings at The Golden Button to learn or continue to learn how to paint. Create paintings from life or photos. Classes are taught using acrylic paint. Great for beginners or people who want to get better! Pick your own subject, create animal paintings, work on portraits and more! We will focus on mixing colors, composition, how to manipulate the paint and much more! (4 Sessions) Cost is $65 plus $26 supply fee (or $30 for one class)

Little Kids Art

Tuesdays beginning February 2, 9, 16, and 23rd from 2:30pm – 3:15 ish PM

Little children have fun exploring different art mediums and creating awesome projects! All materials are safe and appropriate for little hands! Parents, grandparents, babysitters are encouraged to join! Make your own paint, clay and more!!!! Class is appropriate for all ages. (4 sessions) Cost $55 plus $20 supply fee

 

Machine Sewing for Kids (advanced beginner) (FULL)

Tuesdays beginning January 19, 26, February 2, 9, 16, and 23  from 4 PM -5:20 PM

This class is for children who know how to use their sewing machines. We will do a quick review on how to use their machines, then they will learn how to read patterns and create finished items. (6 classes) Cost is $125 plus $40 supply fee

 

Adult Sewing

Class meets Wednesday evenings beginning February 3, 10, 17th and 24th from 5:30-6:40 PM

Adults learn how to sew!!! Bring your machine and learn how to use it and create great beginner projects! Please bring your manual to class. You may also bring pins, scissors and other sewing kit items if you already own them. Otherwise we have some available for your use! Cost is $66 plus $20 supply fee. (You will have some projects where you will supply the materials)

Things!!!! (4 Classes) Cost is 65 plus $22 supply fee.

 

After School Art- All The Things We Love (FULL)

Fridays after school January 29th, February 5, 12, 19, 26 from 4:20-5:20PM

Lets have some fun!!! Come over after school and children will create super fun sculptures, 3-D Paintings, and more based on the things we love!!! (5 Classes) Cost is 80 plus $22 supply fee

 

Friday Night Art!!! PAINTING on unexpected things.

Friday nights beginning February 5, 12, 19, 26 from 5:30- 6:30 PM

Kids create awesome paintings!!!! Create a one of a kind lamp, paint on wood, on found objects, fabric, and more. Use all different types of paint. We will be using paint that can stain!!! Please sign up for this class ahead of time so we can get the supplies we need for everyone! (4 classes) Cost is $65 plus $20 supply fee

Thursdays after school March 17, 24th, 31st, April 7 and 14th from 4:20-5:20PM

Dr. Seuss Inspired Sculpture Class 

Fridays in March!!!! March 4, 11, 18 and 25th from 5:30-6:30 PM

To celebrate one of the most creative American Writer and Illustrator we know….. join us for this super wacky and fun sculpture class! (Dr. Seuss’s B-day is March 2nd but we will celebrate him all month long!!!)  Make something truly amazing art, inspired by some of the best books EVER!!! Use wood, foam, cardboard, wire,  and soooo much more to create!!!! Cost is $65 plus $25 supply fee

(Be prepared to get messy!)

 

 

 Kids Painting, Drawing and Mixed Media Art (ages 9 to 13)

For older kids who love to create art. Each week children will have the options to create found object art, drawing, textured paintings, mixed medium sculpture, or they can come up with their own ideas and explore with lots of supplies!

Explore the great artists and create artwork in their style!!!! During each class we will look at and discuss a new artist! Then we will create art based on their technique or style. Classes meet for 1.5 hours are wonderful for homeschoolers looking to learn more! Ages 6 and up please!

Pick from lots of wonderful Valentine arts and craft projects! Create a one-of-a-kind gift for someone you love. Make some beautiful handmade cards to mail out just in time for Valentines Day!!!! Bring your important addresses, and pop them into our special mailbox to be sent off right away!!!! Make an awesome Wooden Heart Wall Hanging for someone you love and more! Prices range from $12-$22 PER PROJECT!

 

Needle Felting: Lions, Tigers and Cheetahs: Wednesday, February 10th from 7-9:30 PM at The Golden Button.

Join us at the Golden Button on Wednesday, February 10th from 7-9:30 PM to create 3-D a Lion, Tiger or Cheetah sculpture. Needle felting is an easy-to-learn craft in which a barbed needle is used to sculpt wool into anything imaginable. In this class students will create a 3 dimensional felted Lion, Tiger or Cheetah! You will have enough materials to make another one!!! Part of our Menagerie Series!!!

Cost: $40 (Save $5 by bringing your own needles and foam)

Have a super fun night out with the one you love!!! Paint an awesome picture of a parent and baby animal!!!! You will each get your own canvas and Miss Kate will guide you along!!! Valentine snacks and tea will be served. Cost is $55 for one adult and one child. (YOU CAN WEAR YOUR PJS!!!!)

Hand Sewing Valentines and Other fun things: Saturday, February 13th from 11-12 PM

All of our little hand sewers are invited to create a beautiful hand sewing keepsake Valentine! (ages 6 and up please!!!!) We will have templates and samples and everything you need to create this beautiful gift for someone you love. Please sign up ahead of time. Space is limited. Cost is $15 per child or adult!

 

Kids Night Out: Valentine Style: Saturday, February 13th from 6-8 PM (or 9PM)

Drop the kids off at The Golden Button for a very special Valentine’s Inspired Night (so you and your big Valentine can have a date!) Children 4 and up will create an awesome Valentine sculpture, A very special piece of jewelry from their artwork! and some special Valentines for the ones they love! So much fun! If you need a little longer you can leave the kids till 9:00 to read some books and make some more fun treasures to bring home. Wear pjs and bring a blanket!

2 hours: $35 for one child or $55 for two

or stay till 9 for $10 more!!!

All The Seasons

Create a beautiful four-panel painting of the seasons. Bring a friend its more fun! Cost is $40 per person or save $5 if you come with a friend! Snacks will be served. BYOB

Yup…. One genius parent’s idea. Drop the kids off so they can be guided through a really awesome Star Wars inspired painting. Ages 5 and up
