Wooden Easter Egg Painting this Friday and Saturday

Since tomorrow there is no school you may stop by The Golden Button for some Wooden Easter Egg Painting!!! Cost is $6 per large wooden egg. Your egg will be dried and varnished while you wait so you may bring it right home with you. (It only takes a few minutes!) We are offering Wooden Egg Painting on Saturday too!!!

Stop in either day between noon and 5 PM to make some eggs. Supply is limited!

Mixed Media Art with The Girl Scouts!

 

Mixed Media Art with the Girl Scout Troop is working on their Art Badge. Here are some beautiful mixed media pieces they did yesterday. Some of the materials are: gouche, coffee filters, tissue paper, tempera paint, india ink, glue and straws. Aren’t they Lovely!!!

  • Little Kids Art on Thursdays

    (ages 3-5)

Class begins at 1:00 and goes till 1:45 PM

March 28th, April 4, 11, 18 and 24th

Little kids Art. Children get creative with paper towel art, color exploration and building! Lots of fun

Cost is $64 plus $16 supply fee.

 

  • Little Kids Art on Fridays (ages 3-5)

Class begins at 2:00and goes till 2:45 PM

April 5, 12, 19 and 25th

Little kids Art. Children get creative with paper towel art, color exploration and building! Lots of fun

Cost is $50 plus $14 supply fee.

 

  • Flower Workshop

Class begins at 5:00 and goes till 5:45 PM

Thursdays in April 4, 11, 18 and 25th

 

Learn how to make flowers out of paper, draw, print, and sculpt flowers! Each class kids will learn  and explore while creating flowers out of different materials!

Cost is $56 plus a $12 supply fee

 

  • Color Design

Class begins at 5:00 and goes till 5:45 PM

April 12, 19 and 26th

Create art based on Color. Learn about color mixing, cool and warm colors, as well as design and much more. Each week we will try new materials and techniques.

Cost is $45 plus a $15 supply fee

 

  • Needle Felting: Gnomes

Sunday, April 14th from 2-4 PM

Join Rachel Gerowe of Red Barn Originals to learn how to Needle Felt a Gnome!

Cost is $35 (save $5 if you bring your own needles and foam)

 

  • Beginners Knitting

Class begins at 6:30 and goes till 7:30 PM

April12, 19 and 25th

Three part class for Knitting Beginners taught by Patti Clark of Maple View Farm. Learn how to Knit: Cast on, Knit, Purl and Cast off. Learn the basics with simple patterns.

Cost: $75 (You will receive a supply list before the class begins.)

We learned how layer beeswax, vibrant dyes and traditional designs to create these beautiful eggs!

After you finish your eggs you use the flame from the candle to melt the layers of beeswax off your egg to expose your beautiful egg decorations!

  • Wooden Easter Egg Painting

Saturday, March 16, 23rd and 30th

Time: Between 12:00 to 5:00 PM
Stop in and paint beautiful wooden Easter eggs that will last forever!
Call ahead to hold eggs or just stop in! All ages are welcome to come!!! Wear an old t-shirt or smock!
Cost is $6 per egg. (Leave them overnight to be varnished!)
  • Beginners Embroidery Sampler (ages 8 and up)
            5:00 to 5:45 PM
Learn basic stitches and how to make a stitch sampler. We will also begin to make items with
embroidered details that you can really use! This historical art is getting more and more popular! Design your own
sampler and take home your own embroidery kit!
Fridays in March 15th , 22nd, and 29th.
Cost is $45 plus $15 supply fee
