*Little Kids Art

Tuesdays from 3:00 PM-4:00 ish

January 27, February 3, 10, 17, and 24th

Lets explore colors!!!! Each week we will focus on learning our colors while using new mediums and making fun art!!!

Some fun projects include….Color mixing with our feet! Making Valentines and rainbow stacking art!

Little children have fun explore different art mediums and creating art! All materials are safe and appropriate for little hands! We will create some art supplies in class! All ages are welcome. Parents, grandparents, babysitters may join! Class is appropriate for all ages.

Cost: $80 plus $18 supply fee

Fridays from 5:30 -6:30 PM

January 30th, Feb 6, 13th

Create awesome and fun Valentines for your friends and family!

Friday January 23rd from 7-9 PM

 

On Family Art Night each family will get a large canvas to create a masterpiece! Work together to create a design or picture! (We will help you with planning and tips to create your painting!!!) Wear old clothes!!! We will be using acrylic paint!!! All ages are welcome to join! This is a wonderful keepsake! Tea and hot chocolate will be served!

 

(Cost is $55 per family! Covers all supplies for 4 people!)

Friday, February 13th from 7-9 PM

Have a night out with your child or your favorite little person!

Tea and hot chocolate will be served! Create a guided painting! You will each get your own canvas! Miss Kate will guide you step by step though a painting! (We suggest the child is at least 5 to create the step by step painting) This is a great Valentine Treat!!!

Needle Felting Holiday Party Today at The Golden Button!!!

On Sunday, December 7th from 1-4 PM

Join us for a Holiday Needle Felting Party! Bring something you are working on, pick up some ornament kits, Make a santa or an angel or buy a kit and work on it!

Hot Chocolate, tea and treats will be served! Cost is $10 (Plus cost of kit if you buys one!)

*Friday, December 12th 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM: Winter Animal Workshop! Create amazing sculptures of winter animals and make them a habitat to live it!!!! We will also make polar bear wall hangings and have lots of fun! (Little kids are welcome!!!) $30 per artist or $50 for two!

*Saturday, December 13th from 7:30- 9:30 PM: Kids Guided Paint Nights!  Miss Kate will guide your child (Step by Step) through a painting! Treat will be served! Wear old clothes we will be using acrylic paints! A very good time! Drop the kids off and get some dinner finish your shopping meet a friend!!! $30 per artist or $50 for two! (Ages 5 and up)

*Friday, December 19th 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM: Winter Wonderland Night!!! Kids will create an awesome 3-d winter painting! Lots of fun objects and treasures to use!! Make a snowman and more!!!!! Little Kids are welcome to join!!!!! $30 per artist or $50 for two! (Stay a little longer!!!! till 9 PM for $10 extra!!! Make a glitter house too!!!!)

*Saturday, December 20th from 6:00- 8:00 PM: Gift Making Night!!!! Children will pick from a bunch of great holiday gifts DIY! Make some gifts for the people you love! $30 per artist or $50 for two! (Stay a little longer!!!! till 9 PM for $10 extra!!! Make a glitter house too!!!!)

Sunset Painters Art Show!!!

For the past few months we have had a Sunset Landscape Painting Class meeting at Bent of The River. Today we are hanging the show in the barn. You are invited to join us on September 17th at 7 PM for the Sunset Painters opening, or you can see it during Bent Fest on September 20th or anytime during this month when you are visiting Bent of the River in Southbury, CT!

Thursdays from 4:30-5:30

September 4,11,18, and 25th

Learn basic hand sewing techniques, embroidery stitches, and how to apply vintage trim or appliqués. This is a great way to create something new from your old items!

Want to create a new up-cycled t-shirt or bag? Bring some old t-shirts, a hat, pillowcases, or a fabric bag to up-cycle! Your imagination is the limit! So much fun!

 

Cost is $65 plus $14 supply fee

 

Night Art Classes

Fridays from 5:30-6:30 PM

September 5,12,19th and 26th

 

Kids will create art based on the night! Some projects include painting night skies, creating starry wall hangings, creatures of the night art and other fun glowing things! This class is a great Friday night fun time! Wear old clothes! We might get messy!

 

Cost is $65 plus $14 supply fee

Order your painting now through July 31st to receive a 25% off discount on custom paintings!

-Small Paintings (4×4, 6×6, and other similarly sized canvases will be created or $50.00) (Please only one character/ figure per canvas) (sale $37.50 if you order by July 31st!)

-Medium Paintings (10x 10 -12×12 to 11x 14 will run $100.00) (sale $75 if you order by July 31st!)

-Larger Paintings (18×18, 20x 20 and similar sizes will cost $150.00) (sale $112.50  if you order by July 31st!)

Extra large paintings and odd shaped canvases can also be created. Please contact us for additional pricing.

50% deposit is needed at time of order. You may pay the remainder of the balance when your painting is picked up.
