We have a few more special events this August…

– Kids Night Out… Paint a Squishmallow!!!!
Wednesday, August 6th from 5:00-6:30 PM
On this very special evening drop the kids off to paint their favorite squishmallow! Kids are welcome to bring their favorite squishmallow (who can sit in a special squishmallow saftey container to keep it paint free) Miss Kate will help you to match the colors and create a super fun painting of your favoirite squishmallow. All ages are welcome! Cost $35 per person.

-Lizard Sculpture Day
Tuesday, August 12th from 2-3:30 PM
Drop the kids off for a super fun sculpture night. Let’s make your favorite lizards or creature and make it a super fun habitat to live in! Cost $40

-Lemonade Paint Night:
Wednesday, August 13th from 5:30-7:00 PM
Join us to paint a fun relaxing glass of lemonade. We will have lemonade. All ages welcome.

–Outer Space Exploration: Tuesday through Thursday: August 5, 6, and 7th from from 10:30 – 11:30 AM
Create awesome Solar system inspired artwork! Make 3-d planets, design your own planet or star scultpure and make some outer space creatures too. Sculpture, painting and drawing. Cost is $95

–Sew What You Want: August 5, 6, and 7th from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM
All levels are welcome to join in to sew whatever you like. Need help with a project bring it? Want to pick from out huge collection of patterns. Make stuffed animals, clothes, bags and more. You can hand sew or bring a machine or try one of ours. Cost is $100

Monday, August 11, Tuesday, August 12th, and Wednesday, August 13th

–New: Slimy Week: August 11, 12, and 13th from 11:30-12:30 PM
Join us for this Slimy fiasco. (Seems to be the favorite events this summer)…. Against Miss Kate’s better judgment we will be having a week of slime. All sorts of messy slimy concoctions and some other fun clays and things to squish. Including a slug slime inspired by one of our little friends. (ages 5 and up please) Cost is $100

–Cardboard Sculpture Art: August 11, 12, and 13th from 12:30-1:30 PM
Recycle, create and have fun! Create a super fun cardboard sculpture. Add paper mache and 3- D elements. We will sketch ideas and build a fun piece of art. This is a fun process piece. Make a jungle with critters, make an ocrean with an octopus or a coral reef with an eel. Be as creative as you can! Great for elementary age and middle school artists. Cost is $95

Tuesday, August 19, Wednesday, August 20, and Thursday, August 21st

–Clothing / Fashion Design Sewing: August 19, 20, and 21th from 2:30-4:00 PM (Full)
Join us for this fun sewing experience. Kids must have some prior sewing experience. Children will design and create a piece of clothing. Make something for yourself or a model. Cost will cover basics sewing supplies but feel free to bring pieces of material or extra items if you have a very specific vision. (Like a veil or a furry costume. Or something for a very specific character piece. We have tons of fabric and supplies but sometimes you have something spoecific in your head) Kids age 6 and up. Cost is $125

Kids Illustration

Meets Thursdays: August 1,8, 15 and 22nd from 5:00-6:00 PM

Make some Illustrations!!! Learn a little about illustrators while you create super fun illustrations in different mediums! Ink, watercolors, clay and more! Kids will have the option to make some sweet little books! Great for kids who love drawing and writing.  (4 weeks) Cost is $125

Fabric Dying Workshop! 

Thursday, July 25th from 1:30- 2:30 PM

Bring one or 2 tshirt, pillowcase, light colored cotton clothing or even a twin sheet.  Join us to upcycle something you own! Recycled and dye something to make it new again. We will have fabric on hand to do some hand painting as well! (Then leave it all at the studio to dry and in a day or two you can pick up your piece of fabriuc art!

Cost is $40 per person. 

Guided Paint Night:  Super fun large Texture Art

Friday, August 2nd from 5:00-6:30 PM

Join us to paint a extremely fun summer inspired, 3-d painting.  Each participant will get a 16 x 20 canvas to create on. Make a giant jellufish or star fish. Add lots of fun texture and some super fun sea shells. Top it all off with shimmery paint.  We will explore extreme texture with all kinds of tools.  Cost is $45 per person. 

(Painting may be to wet to move… in which case it can be left at the studio to dry.) Great Elementary, middle, teens and adults! Not great for little kids) 

Mermaid Crafternoon

Thursday, August 8th from 11-12:3o PM

Make a magical mermaid doll with help from Miss Kate. Each child will get a blank mermaid foll to decorate however they like.  Paint, glue and ad some whimsical details. Then add mermaid hair! Cost is $45

Stay for the next event to make some mermaid slime!!!

Slimy Science 

Thursday, August 8th from 12:3o- 1:30 PM

Your child’s favorite. Make lots of slimey science fun! Fluffy slime 

Mermaid slime, add in awesome glitter, gummy bears and a few slimy creatures. (Ages 5 and up) $40

Mouse House!!!! A Mini Summer Camp (2  days!!!) 

Thursday August 15 th and 16th from 11:00- 12:30PM

Join us to make a magical little nature house for a mouse! Each participant gets a super cute mini stuffed mouse. Make a super fun mini house for your mouse! Add personalized details to your mouse and then decoprate your mini house, pots and pans, candles, chairs and tables and a bed for your little friend. Don’t forget to make some cheese!! Tons fo materials and fun ideas to try. (You will love this if you joined us for our Little House Mini Camps Cost is $105 

Kids Crafternoon: Dinosaurs and More 

Thursday, August 15th from 12:30- 1:30 PM 

Explore dinosaurs! and art. Create a large 3-d dinosaur with tons of texture and color, create your own dinosaur egg and do a little Dino dig too! Great for younger kids through elementary! Cost is $40

-Sunday September21st Woodpeckers; Cost $40. Makes one 6″ woodpecker suitable for hanging on a wall.

Little children have fun explore different art mediums and creating art! All materials are safe and appropriate for little hands! We will create some art supplies in class! All ages are welcome. Parents, grandparents, babysitters may join!
Cost: $65 plus $12 supply fee

Each week we will have a different set of supplies for a different project. (You do not need to call ahead)

Wednesday, September 24th, October 1st, 8th and 15th

at about 5:45 PM to about 7:30 PM or till it starts to get dark!

During Autumn in New England journey outside to see the colors begin to change. As the air gets crisp and everything turns…. join us to create some beautiful landscape paintings. Focus on colors and textures and the light on the trees. Beginners are welcome to create beautiful acrylic landscape paintings with Kate Gorham from The Golden Button!

Cost is $80 plus $30 supply fee. Drop in for just one class $34 (includes supply fee)
