Local Love Event this Friday and and Saturday.

Chocolates, valentines, crafts, treats, giveaways and much more. Support local artists! Many beautiful one of a kind valentines you can’t find anywhere else!!! We even have some brand new items this week!!

Today we were lucky enough to have Rachel Gerowe with us today to make beautiful owl sculptures with fiber and barbed needles… We had a lot of fun!!!!

Yesterday we had our Valentine Making Workshop with Bradleigh Huizinga…

Bradleigh taught us how to make beautiful Valentines and got us all excited to go home and create even more fun things….

Bradleigh brought us all kinds of fun things to try!!!

Then we decorated mini candy bars with string and stamps and fancy punches and all sorts of fun stuff!!!

Thank you to Bradleigh and all the girls who participated in the workshop!!! It was so much fun!

Keep an eye out because Bradleigh Huizinga is going to be doing a monthly card workshop. Details will be announced soon!!!

I have decided to keep The Golden Button closed on Tuesday afternoons during the winter.

Since opening The Golden Button I have not been able to spend as much time with my family as I was previously able to. I was very lucky to spend this afternoon with my wonderful mother and I am going to spend tomorrow afternoon with my father. We are going on a mini road trip to Mass. I am very excited. This way I can run errands and get a few more things done. On Tuesdays during the cold months.

I hope that keeping the shop closed on Tuesdays will not inconvenience anyone.

Sunday, February 5th: Learn to make an amazing owl sculpture out of wool.

Time: 2-4ish pm

Cost $35 includes enough materials to make two- 3″ inch owls, one in class and another at home.

Save $5 if you bring your own needles and foam.
